Noosa International Food & Wine Festival



The tenth anniversary Noosa Food & Wine Festival is well and truly underway today!




Even the rain couldn’t put a damper on preparations and proceedings today, the festival – in its tenth year – kicked off with Food Trails and the Westpac Ruby Luncheon, to be followed by the Gala Opening Night – Edible Music tonight, a unique concert showcasing some of Australia’s most talented musicians and the world’s leading chefs.



Sam is wearing a couple of hats, one as stage manager another for “chef micro-manager”! He’s been on site all day and has taken a few deep breaths this afternoon before the gates open. It’s a BIG show. But then, with Jim Berardo at the helm, how could it be anything less?!


Friday, Saturday and Sunday night is going to be music and dancing central at Festival Village with an amazing line up of entertainers!


Join The Martini Club, Pantastic Steel Band, Soul Cutz, Mahogany, Queen Bohemian Rhapsody with Thomas Crane, The Fabulous Singlettes, Relish and the amazing Timomatic!


Because I’ll be at shake & stir’s Animal Farm tonight and The Danger Ensemble’s Sons of Sin tomorrow night, I might not experience much of the festival at all! If you’re there, wining and dining and enjoying the entertainment, let us know what you’re up to!
