A Flipping Great School Holiday Show

Performing at the Judy for the very first time, Brisbane’s Flipside Circus premiere their contemporary circus work, the visually stunning and physically astounding Identité.

Exploring themes of identity, the innocence of youth and growing up, fourteen incredible performers aged from just nine to 18, express their ‘identities’ through amazing aerials, acrobatics and other circus favourites in a visually stunning show suitable for all ages.

Identité also provides a unique twist on the ‘when I grow up’ dilemma that young people face.

Flipside Circus’ Creative Director Chelsea McGuffin (Cantina) is thrilled to be working with some of the best emerging circus artists around town.

“I am so amazed by the students’ progress since I joined Flipside two years ago” says Chelsea.

“I have watched them grow into confident performers who seem to have no boundaries when it comes to their love and learning of circus arts.”

With $6 flat rate parking available opposite the Judy at Wilson Parking, public transport options nearby and a range of restaurants to be found throughout the Valley, families can come along and make a full day of it during the Easter break.

If simply being an audience member isn’t enough to satisfy the young ones, Flipside Circus are also running school holiday workshops in conjunction with their season of Identité.

“For genuine human entertainment, give me Flipside any day”
