Bradley McCaw is an Australian performer, composer, playwright, actor and singer/songwriter. He has worked onstage playing lead roles in countless musicals and toured the world with International singing group ‘The Ten Tenors,’ which included a performance at the 2004 AFL Grand Final.

In 2010, he wrote the music, lyrics and book for his first musical ‘Becoming Bill,’ which was presented during a sold out performance at ‘The Hum Series’ by Joymas Creative Production Company and the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts. In 2011, he was awarded the ‘2011 Young Emerging Playwrights award’ by the Queensland Theatre Company, for his new musical ‘In Good Company.’ The piece was developed and workshopped in partnership with the company during 2011. This was the first musical ever to be awarded this prize. Currently in development are two new plays, ‘Gone Fishin,’ and ‘The Race,’ and his first musical Becoming Bill is preparing for a return season at Judith Wright Centre in December this year.

Recently, Bradley was commissioned to contribute music/lyrics to the Aboriginal Centre of Performing Arts adaptation of Roger Bennett’s play, “Up The Ladder” directed by Queensland Theatre Companies artistic director ‘Wesley Enouch.’ The production opens at the Cremone theatre, QPAC in October this year.

As a singer/songwriter Bradley writes and performs constantly. He bares a passion and love for the music of yesterday and believes that there is still a place for melodic composition in pop music today. He has performed alongside Bernard Fanning, Pete Murray and Candice Alley. He has been seen performing at the Crossbows Festival, Noosa Jazz Festival, Centenary Rocks Festival, Racecourse Rd Carnival, Gympie Muster and The Straddie Stomp, to name a few. In 2010, ‘Mine,’ a song he co-wrote, was a finalist in the ‘Music Oz Awards.’ His music has been heard on Bay FM, 4zzz, and ABC Radio, where he was a feature artists in 2010.
